Annual White Lights Event:
The West Falmouth community joined together in song led by the choir of the West Falmouth Methodist church on December 7th for the annual tree lighting across from West Falmouth Market on land generously provided by the condominium association of which Dan and Deb Shearer are members.
The tree lighting was conceived by board member Martha Ross and is accompanied by white lit homes and businesses all along West Falmouth Highway.
The tree itself grew up in upstate New York at the Ellms Family Tree Farm and was donated by Carlyn Ellms. Maury and Art Harlow-Hawkes were assisted by Paul Sellers in raising the tree and dressing it with sparkling lights.
To everyone's delight, in addition to the Christmas carols sung by all, a dance recital was given by Kate Partan.

Thank yous go out to Martha Ross, who had the idea, Maury and Art Harlow-Hawkes, who strung and restrung the lights, Carlyn Ellms who gave the tree, the Land Owners, who gave the perfect venue and Pastor Sandra and the Methodist Church choir who led the carols!
