The public communications policy of the West Falmouth Village Association is as follows:

Members of the public may request that the Board disseminate information or advocacy on its website. Only requests submitted in position-neutral text will be considered. The Board reserves the right to edit the text and to decide when the information is transmitted. The President shall decide whether the request is information or advocacy.

As to information: items should concern the health, safety, welfare, environment or culture of West Falmouth and its citizens. The President will exercise discretion about this.

As to advocacy: If you wish the board to take a public position on an item concerning the health, safety, welfare, environment or culture of West Falmouth or its citizens, the item should be presented at a meeting of the Board. The position should be adopted by a 2/3 vote of the Board. If adopted, the President has the authority to communicate the position.
